Way too Early Player Ratings: Supercoppa Italiana Edizione

After a dreadful display at the San Siro On Sunday, Juventus will play for more than just their pride against Napoli. A trophy is at stake and we must do anything to win it.

Szczesny 6 - Tek will be called upon to make some world class saves in the final. He’ll be up to the task and he’ll keep the team in it.

Danilo 5.5 - Danilo will be much better and more effective. He will have a bounce back game. His professionalism and experience will help calm the team down

Bonucci 5 - not much else to say about Leo. He’s having a terrible season, he’s a declining player but Covid and injuries give us no other option. A title game may change things but I don’t expect it

Chiesa 6 - he will be a bright, dynamic source of energy for the bianconeri. He will creat at least 3 chances and he will learn from his defensive lapse against Inter.

Arthur 6.5 - if he can avoid Bakayoko in 50/50’s I think Arthur will dominate the midfield. He has a unique ability to control a game if he’s involved early

Bentancur 6 - needs to contribute something, anything.. a defensive performance, an attacking masterclass. The Uruguayan will be anonymous once again against Napoli

Bernardeschi 5.5 - I can’t see this going well but I prefer him to Frabotta. At a different angle of approach, Berna will connect on a few crosses and whip in some dangerous balls.

McKennie 7.5 - the workrate Wes possesses will create a goal scoring opportunity. He will be dangerous throughout the night and give Juventus a chance to win

Morata 6 - Morata will have a tough time against Koulibaly and Manolas but will pop up at the perfect time and score a goal

Ronaldo 6 - the days of expecting a masterclass every game from Ron should be over. He is the man for the big occasion and will score against Napoli but the overall game play will be lacking.

Pirlo 5 - First final coach Pirlo will partake in. I think his inexperience will be our ultimate downfall similar to the Inter game.

Juventus 2-3 Napoli

Goals: Ronaldo, Morata

Chiesa, Bernardeschi
