Way Too Early Player Ratings: Juventus v Sassuolo

With our back line thinner than ever we have to play a massive game against a very tricky Sassuolo side. However, there are no excuses and anything less than a victory will be a disappointment.

Buffon 6 - Gigi gets another game in this hectic schedule. He will be safe as a house and have the makeshift back line organized.

Danilo 6 - Danilo seems to be more and more engaged and becoming more of a Juventino every single day that passes. He will be steady as always defensively against Sassuolo.

Bonucci 6 - the elder statesmen at the back will have a tough task marking Caputo 1 on 1 but on the ball he will keep the team in control

Demiral 6 - against his former squad, Merih will have something to prove. His tough tackling and determination is going to get us out of some tough situations

Chiesa 6.5 - Freddie Church is currently on a bender. If he can help contain Boga and Rogerio, Juventus will be successful. On the ball he can do no wrong at the moment. He will come up with a goal contribution

Rabiot 5.5 - his ball retention and possession stats will be decent however I don’t think he will affect the game as much as Pirlo would like him too. The Italian manager thinks this guy could be a world beater but I am losing faith by every game.

McKennie 6.5 - he’ll put himself in some very opportune positions in the attacking third and be as equally busy in the defensive third. Expect another shift put in by Big Mac.

Frabotta 5.5 - as long as he remains anonymous and blends in it will be favourable for the bianconeri. Expect some forays into the attacking third but his final ball won’t be up to par.

Ramsey 6 - the Welshman will defend from the front as he has done all year and will contribute an assist against Sassuolo

Dybala 8.5 - expect a wonder game from La Joya. The Argentine is starting to turn up and as soon as he shakes these illnesses, watch out.

Ronaldo 7 - CR7’s link up with Rambo and la Joya will be devastating against Sassuolo. Expect some flair and results from the King.

Pirlo 6.5 - with limited resources I think Pirlo will will have the team continue on from the strong second half against Milan
