Way Too Early Player Ratings: Juventus v Hellas Verona

We’re back for another Serie A game. We’re back with another thin squad for the match against Hellas Verona. We’re back with needing all 3 points. That’s all that matters.

Szczesny 6.5 - Our number 1 with get a good performance in against Hellas. He will make two massive saves to keep us in it.

Demiral 6 - another very good defensive game will be had from the Big Turk. He will be immense in 1 on 1 situations.

De Ligt 7.5 - the Dutchman will be enormous against Hellas. He’ll be calming at the back and play some decent balls forward.

Dragusin 6 - the Romanian gets another start to prove himself. I can see him having a really strong game and De Ligt will be there to cover up just in case.

Chiesa 8 - Freddie Church has become our most dynamic player. Expect at least a goal contribution from the winger in the more favourable right wing role.

Ramsey 6 - the Welshman gets another start as an advanced midfielder. He was quite creative in the role Monday and I say he does another good job against Verona.

Rabiot 5.5 - will not offer much other than soaking up minutes. More direct runs from the Frenchman should be made but don’t expect many from him against Hellas.

Bernardeschi 5.5 - well, we are short players. Hopefully these starts make someone want to buy him in the summer.

McKennie 6.5 - bad hip, no problem. Big Mac is having a good season. Expect an all around good game front the American. He’ll have many half chances against Hellas.

Kulusevski 5 - the Swedes just not a striker. Playing out of position and not on the counter attack has really hurt Kulu’s confidence. It’s hard for him to break teams down in final third sets.

Ronaldo 5.5 - he scored his two goals against Crotone so now he won’t score for another 2 games. As I’ve mentioned numerous times, he’s 36, he needs a break, bring on Felix Correia. We aren’t winning the Scudetto at this rate anyway.

Pirlo 5.5 - not many players at his disposal but I would of liked to see Ramsey, Fagioli starting and Correia at least on the bench.
