Time to Settle First - Barca v Juve Pre Match Ratings

Buffon 6 - the start makes sense as we have clinched a spot in the knockout stages. Gigi can still do a job even at 43 and will have our makeshift back line organized.

Danilo 6 - will have a tough time against the young Barcelona duo Trincao and Pedri but his experience will help him and the team out

Bonucci 6 - look out for 1 on 1’s if these Barcelona attackers have a chance at him. On the ball he’ll try and play as the registra and have some success

Alex Sandro 5,5 - he is still looking for some consistency and continuity. Going up against the best player ever should provide a big test. He will come out relatively unscathed

Cuadrado 6 - as we have been saying all year, he will deliver 1 or 2 prime scoring chance crosses and the rest of his time with the ball will be a circus. His defensive cover for Danilo will be needed and he will oblige.

Arthur 6,5 - this is the game he’s been waiting for. He will show what Barcelona is missing. He will get the ball from defense to attack and get Juve out of sticky situations in the defensive third. Look for him to be buzzing from the start.

Rabiot 6 - will put in a shift but a rather anonymous shift. He will be subbed out for McKennie.

Chiesa 6 - he is in decent form at the moment. The continuous, youthful work rate will continue and he will have flashes. It will be important for him to aid Alex Sandro in the defensive third.

Ramsey 5,5 - Ramsey is meant to be a creative box to box midfielder. And he damn well tried his best to do so every game. It hasn’t really worked out for the most part as he doesn’t seem to click with his teammates. Look for the early sub to happen again because of it.

Morata 7 - would of scored 3 last time out if VAR wasn’t a thing. Hopefully he continues his splendid form In the number 9 role. He’ll have his chances.

Ronaldo 6,5 - no one besides Arthur will be as motivated as CR7 tomorrow. He loves a big game and a challenge against his arch rival. We could see him get frustrated very early if Barcelona does what Barcelona do at the Nou Camp. Ronaldo’s build up won’t be as effective but if he gets a sniff at goal you know he’s scoring one.
