Fresh off a scintillating Champions League opening win vs Dynamo Kiev, Juventus is back in action on Sunday Evening, as they take on Hellas Verona on Sunday evening at Allianz Stadium. Juventus will be without Cristiano Ronaldo who tested positive for Corona Virus, but if he has a negative test, he should be able to play vs Barcelona on Oct 28.

Juventus shrugged off a disappointing 1-1 Serie A fixture vs Crotone, by defeating Dynamo Kiev 2-0 in a convincing victory, giving Andrea Pirlo his first victory in the Champions League.

Alvaro Morata continued his goal scoring prowess in the Champions League by scoring both goals for the Old Lady.

Verona continued their trend of low scoring games by easing the pain with a goalless draw at home, vs Genoa . In recent times Juventus has dominated this fixture between the two teams, garnering 6 wins in the last 10 matches. Verona did however manage two draws, and beat Juventus last February when the teams last met.

Andrea Pirlo will be without Cristiano Ronaldo as he recovers from Covid 19 protocol. Weston McKennie is also out recovering from Corona Virus, and Giorgio Chiellini is out with a pulled hamstring, he suffered vs Dynamo Kiev. Alex Sandro and Matthijs de Ligt are long-term absentees, while Federico Chiesa is suspended after getting sent off on his debut last week. Pirlo is expected to rotate after midweek exertions, which ought to see the likes of Merih Demiral and Paulo Dybala start.

Juventus' squad is stretched a bit thin at the moment, and Verona are likely to be tricky opponents with their high-tempo style. However Andrea Pirlo has many options at his disposal. With Paulo Dybala itching to start, we could see a barrage of goals in this match. Alvaro Morata will also be keen to keep his scoring run going, which ought to result in a functional win for the Bianconeri.

Prediction: Juventus 3- Hellas Verona 0
