What are your feelings about your move to Juventus?
It's a great feeling for me to come back here, I've always been tied to this club and I'm very happy. I can't wait to train with my teammates. The first period was great and I'm convinced I'm a better player, I grew up in many things in my life and I think it will be another beautiful path.
What prompted you to accept Juventus' offer?
For me, saying no is difficult. Everybody knows I'm always ready for Juventus because more than a great club and a great team it's a family and I think that when you stay in a place that feels like home, you always want to come back.
It's a busy day for you but is it always nice to experience these emotions?
Yes, unfortunately it is a bit different with this situation which we hope will end as soon as possible. I would have liked to have contact with the fans and I promise that when the situation passes we will, but it was great to feel all the affection that people have given me. I'll have to pay him back on the pitch, but I think I'll be able to do that.
Here you find Pirlo again but as the coach, what do you think about that?
It was one of the best experiences of my career playing in that team that had not only Andrea but many champions and now if it is 50% of what it was with the ball I think there will be something to learn and the tea will play well. I saw the first match the other day and I think you can see his mark on the team so much and I can't wait to put myself at his disposal.
You will find several teammates you have played with.
Yes, I was in contact with almost all those who have been my teammates and we had a wonderful relationship not only in football but what is more beautiful is having a relationship as a friend and you can talk to them about families, they are true friends and I'm happy.
When Juve called waht did you think about first?
It's hard to say, but I saw an image of my children in the Juve shirt and I think tomorrow it will be the second thing I'll do.
What have you been missing in these years of Turin and Juve?
There are several things but above all the people who are here and the atmosphere that is here when you come to train or go to the pitch. At Juve it is different, I have missed it, I have been to many places and they treated me well but here it's different.
The attack department is now formidable.
I am very honored once again to wear this shirt. I don't know how many goals I will score but I can promise a lot of work. I want to run everywhere and help this team because we have to keep winning.
You left Juve with a decisive goal in a final. Now do you have to start scoring them again?
I think if all goes well I will have the opportunity to do it in the same stadium and it would be very nice to score the first goal there but I don't think about that. I think about making myself available to the team and I am very happy.
