I'm happy for Morata

Max Allegri spoke with Juventus TV after a great win against Zenit.

The game

It was an enjoyable game both technically and in terms of intensity. I'm happy with what the lads did because it was the first goal of the season and they achieved it with two games in hand. I didn't like the way the ball was handled in the last five minutes, we were bound to concede the second goal. We had 4-5 counter-attacks that could have been avoided by keeping the ball, that's something that needs to be improved. Those five minutes are the emblem of what we are. Today the team worked with responsibility and lucidity, the boys did well.

Changes in attack

We played with three up front and three midfielders. In midfield Bernardeschi, Locatelli and McKennie played a really good game. But the whole team, tonight it's hard to go and find the best performer.

Dybala and Morata

Dybala played a great game in terms of technique and quantity, as did Morata who lost two or three balls and went after them and recovered them. I'm especially happy for him because he scored a goal.
