Juventus winners of five games in a row, including the first leg win, vs Inter Milan, on Tuesday evening in the Coppa Italia, are back on the pitch, at the Allianz Stadium with another important must-win game vs AS Roma.
Juventus sits fourth in the Serie A standing, seven points behind injury-riddled Milan, and one point off of third-place Roma.
As this game unfolds this week here are 4 things to watch out for as to how this game might unfold.
1) Can Juventus please stop starting Bernardeschi in the lineup. Andrea Pirlo must see something in this guy, that others don't see, but he is just bad on the pitch. Missing crosses and as well as easy goals in the box. Moving forward he needs to sit on the bench, as he has done more harm than good when he is in the lineup.
2) McKennie Magic. Weston McKennie, the American from Texas has captured the hearts and imagination of Serie A and Juventus fans. When he is on the pitch he brings a lot of energy and enthusiasm that is lacking with some of our players. His know-how in the box on crosses has been incredible all season long. With Arthur and him starting this team can go far and win a 10th scudetto in a row.
3) Slow starts in the second half of the games. As was evident against Inter on Tuesday evening, Juventus sometimes loses their game flow in the second half of games. They have to have full concentration, and not be error-prone. This is another must-win game, and they cant ill afford to drop any points.
4) Attacking the Roma Counter. As was the case in the first game vs Roma, Juventus got caught on both goals on the counter when they push forward. They have to be wary of that not to get caught upfield when pushing forward and to leave a few guys back in defense.
